Where Klang town's industrial areas are

Klang town is the inland half of the Klang district, separate from the port. Its factories and warehouses sit in a ring of estates around the town:

• Air Hitam and Johan Setia: smaller industrial pockets within the Klang district.

Roads

Bukit Raja links to Jalan Meru, the NKVE, the Federal Highway and the North Klang Straits Expressway; the Meru and Kapar side reaches the West Coast Expressway (WCE); KESAS connects Klang with Shah Alam and Kuala Lumpur.

Local council

These estates fall under Majlis Bandaraya Diraja Klang (MBDK, the Klang Royal City Council), which handles planning approval, the business licence and assessment for factories in the Klang district.

Klang town or Port Klang?

Port Klang is the port side: Westport on Pulau Indah, Northport, Telok Gong, Pandamaran and Bandar Sultan Suleiman.
